we honestly had a very good experience at Mikomi sushi Santa Monica, because everything was pretty excellent. Starting with the ambience of the restaurant which was very cool, it has kind of a neon vibe. Then the service, which I most say, it was not the kindest we’ve ever had, but at least it was fast. What I would definitely come back here for is of course the food. We ordered a sushi combo with a spicy tuna roll. We thought the fresh sushi was OK. It was good, but it was not the best we’ve ever had. In our opinion was the best item of all night was the black spider roll, I think that’s what it’s called, but oh my god it was the best sushi I’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend going for that one and trying this sushi place.

I recently checked out Mikomi Sushi and it honestly exceeded expectations, definitely a spot I'd come back to. First off, the ambiance was really nice: modern, cozy, and perfect for a casual dinner or a date night. On top of that, the service was amazing. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience feel welcoming from start to finish. If you go, do not skip the crispy rice spicy tuna. It might've been one of the best I've had! They top it with fried onions and fresh avocado, which adds the perfect crunch and creaminess to balance the spicy tuna. The Firey Salmon Battera Sushi was another standout, super fresh with great flavor, and you can tell they really pay attention to quality. Same goes for the Ultimate Salmon Roll, which was rich, fresh, and really satisfying. For appetizers, the chicken thigh yakitori was juicy and well-seasoned, the takoyaki was warm and flavorful, and the arugula salad added a nice fresh balance to the meal. Overall: fresh sushi, standout crispy rice, great ambiance, and amazing service. Definitely recommend taking advantage of the promo and trying it for yourself.

Delicious!!! Especially if you’re on a keto diet or similar like the person I went with. My photos don’t really do the food justice. Absolutely delightful. We also got a wonderful fish dish and several veggie dishes - it looked so good I dug into the fish before taking a photo haha And everything was surprising large portions for the price and taste

I recently checked out Mikomi Sushi and it was such a fun experience! One of the coolest parts is that they have a robo kitty delivering the food to your table. It definitely adds a unique and cute touch to the dining experience. For lunch, I tried their omakase set, a cozy bowl of tonkotsu ramen, and a giant crunchy roll. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and really satisfying. The omakase was a great way to try a variety of sushi, the ramen was rich and comforting, and the crunchy roll was huge with the perfect crunch. The restaurant itself has a really pretty ambiance—clean, modern, and great for a casual lunch or dinner. Another plus is that there’s a parking structure nearby with 90 minutes of free parking, which is super convenient for Santa Monica. Overall, good food, cute atmosphere, and a fun dining experience. I’d definitely come back!

Came here for rolls, i left content. Some rolls are definitely better than others; so ordering good ones will definitely change the opinion of the customer. Pizza roll was delicious (normally called baked scallop roll lol.. nothing to do with pizza)! The tempura rolls were great too. Little disappointed with the crispy rice tuna roll; i don’t recommend that one. As for the price, I think it’s on the higher side. It does make me think twice since there are plenty of decent option around the pier for the same price. One thing I did like was their menu. It is very beginner friendly. Has picture for almost every roll, so people who’re not as familiar with some rolls can see what they’re ordering!
